Join Us for the Tour de Friends! Mark your calendars — we're excited to welcome the whole community to the Active Roads & Cycling Hub's first event, Tour de Friends on Saturday, September 19th, 2026, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Nick Smith Centre in Arnprior. Volunteer Registration: https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSdrWud6xY3.../viewform... Participation Registration: https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSfMoXu4sfL.../viewform... Whether you're a young rider, a teen, or an adult, there's something here for you, and we'd love for you to come out and join the fun! Participants will rotate through hands-on activity stations designed to teach and practice essential bike safety skills. For our more experienced riders, we're also offering a supervised 5 km group ride to Cold Bear Brewery — a great chance to put those skills to the test in a relaxed, guided setting. We need volunteers too! Some roles call for confident cyclists with bikes in good working order, while other stationary roles are perfect for non-cyclists who still want to help out. All cycling volunteers will receive training in advance! Registration for participation is recommended for planning purposes, but "cycle-ins" welcome on the day! Come out, learn something new, and help make our roads safer for everyone — we hope to see you there! Thank you for your support! Event proudly presented by the Active Roads & Cycling Hub, in partnership with the Arnprior Optimist Club
