The Township of McNab/Braeside is a recreation lover’s paradise. White Lake, the Madawaska River, the Ottawa River and countless streams and creeks offer many opportunities for fishing, boating, swimming, canoeing/kayaking and rowing. Hikers and snowmobilers will enjoy the many walking and snowmobile trails in the area, and plans are under way to create more hiking trails.
Municipally owned facilities include:
- maintained beaches at Burnstown and Braeside
- recreational centres at Braeside and McNab
- boat launches and docks at Burnstown Beach, Braeside (Red Pine Bay), Clay Bank Nature Park for Outdoor Learning, and Waba Cottage Museum & Gardens

All parks are closed to the public between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Those with a valid boat launch parking pass are exempt (including passengers in another vehicle).
Boat Launch Parking
