Fall Nature Fest at Clay Bank Park

We are holding our inaugural Fall Nature Fest at Clay Bank Park on Sunday, September 26, 2021, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m..

We have an entire morning planned for this special event, which starts with a guided nature walk with Michael Runtz. At a ribbon-cutting ceremony, we will unveil our plans for the park. Concurrent workshops are planned: make a fall wreath (grape vine wreaths supplied); learn about capturing carbon in the soil; identifying and using edible plants and flowers.

Birdhouses painted by children will be hung along the trails later in the morning.

Along with an art display and seed giveaways, the Arnprior Public Library’s own Curby will be on hand, offering a curbside service of nature-related books for all ages.
