Step into Spring

Get moving this April and join us for the Step Into Spring Walking Challenge, a fun and friendly way to stay active and connect with your community! 
Form a team of four participants and work together to log as many steps as possible throughout the month. Whether you’re walking the trails, strolling through the neighbourhood, or getting your steps in with friends (and furry companions!), every step counts toward your team’s total. Kick things off by celebrating National Walking Day on April 6th, the perfect opportunity to lace up your shoes and start strong!

  Challenge Details
Teams of 4 people
Duration: April 1 to April 30
Each participant must use a step-tracking device (phone, smartwatch, Fitbit, etc.)
Weekly step tracking sheets must be submitted, along with photos of your device as proof
Registration Deadline: March 27th

Each participant must use a step-tracking device (phone, smartwatch, Fitbit, etc.)
Weekly step-tracking must be submitted and will be updated on our website
A group has been created on the Step Up App (available on smartphone). Participation in the app is optional; however, it offers another way to track your progress and allows members to view each other's steps for added motivation and friendly competition.
*App is very user friendly. We are happy to provide assistance if required.
*Team members included in group will not need to submit their weekly steps. Data will be exported directly.


 At the end of the challenge, the team with the highest total number of steps will take home a special gift basket!
This challenge promotes healthy living, community spirit, and a little friendly competition, all at your own pace.
