Total Fire Ban in Effect

As of 9:00 AM on August 11, 2025, McNab/Braeside is under a Level 2 (Total) Fire Ban.

·         All open-air burning is prohibited — this includes campfires, brush burning, burn barrels, and incinerators.

·         No exceptions for burn permits — even previously issued permits are suspended.

·         Only CSA-approved propane or natural gas appliances (barbecues, camp stoves, heaters) are allowed.

The ban is due to high to extreme fire risk from hot, dry weather and is enforced under the Township’s Open Air Burning By-law 2025-50.
