Household Hazardous Waste Depot - Closing August 27, 2022
Please be reminded that the Household Hazardous Waste Depot will be closing on August 27, 2022 at the Renfrew Landfill Site, located at 376 Bruce Street.
Until then, Residents of the Township of McNab/Braeside upon showing identification are welcome to dispose of the items listed below during operating hours.
List of Items to dispose of:
Paints: All Types Of Paint And Stains, Varnish Etc.
Solvents: Turpentine, Disinfectants, Household Cleaners, Bleach, Oven And Drain Cleaners, Furniture Stripper, Ammonia Etc.
Pesticides: Herbicides, Pesticides and Insecticides, Weed Killer Etc.
Pool cleaners
Propane Tanks
Used Oil: Oil and brake fluid
Gasoline
Anti-Freeze
Batteries: Small Home Batteries, Car and Boat Batteries.
Oil filters
All of these above products must be in their original containers and disposed of safely and separately from our regular household garbage.
Household hazardous waste should not be thrown in the garbage or poured down sewers and drains.
