September Star Gazing

Come join us for an evening of stargazing!

Saturday, September 11th  starting at 7:30 p.m. at Clay Bank Park (boat launch) -1511 White Lake Rd.

Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on. We have a lovely gravel pad that makes a perfect spot for looking up at the night sky.

This is a family friendly environment. Children are welcome if parents choose to bring them.

The moon will be almost at first quarter so it will be well portioned for viewing and then as it darkens up Saturn and Jupiter will pop up. And of course meteors are always a possibility.

Red light flashlights recommended for our eyes to adapt to the night sky- for optimal star viewing.

Bring a sweater/blanket as the evening temperatures drop. You are welcome to bring your own snacks/water.

*Social distancing rules apply with those outside of your household.
