2010 FINAL BILL INSERT

Tax Notices are being mailed at this time to property owners with Residential, Farm, Managed Forests and Pipeline property classes. Properties affected by the Provinces 10-5-5 regulations, being Multi-Residential, Commercial and Industrial properties will be mailed out later in the year when these adjustments have been completed. The final tax levy is split into two installments, being due July 30, 2010 and September 30, 2010. By-law No. 2010-26 was passed by Council on May 18 , 2010 to adopt the 2010 Budget and Tax Rates.

The Township of McNab/Braeside is the 5^th highest contributor to the Renfrew County levy for 2010. The Township will submit payment for the levy in the amount of $2,735,276 (Two million, Seven hundred and thirty-five thousand, Two hundred and seventy-six dollars).

For every dollar the Township collects in taxes, the Township retains 34 cents, the Schools receives 28 cents and the County receives 38 cents. In 2009, the Township Tax rate was the 6^th lowest in Renfrew County.
